Hello,

My PGWP is going to expire in May'2017 and I am working as a NOC "A". I have applied for permanent residence in last Dec'2015 and got my AOR in march'2016. Please tell me what and when should I extend my workpermit ?

You need to apply within 4 months of your PGWP expiration. Which means January 2017 is the earliest you can apply for a BOWP.

thanks Moelaghil, I read the attached link and it says "Note: If you applied under the Provincial Nominee Program, you must not have employment restrictions as conditions of your nomination"

I have restriction in my nomination letter so what should I do?

So my understanding is that you received Provincial Nomination as a part of a job offer PNP Stream in NS. I think the reason that statement is in there because it's an "Open" work permit. I still think as a Provincial Nominee you can still apply, but you might get a closed work permit for that employer. Your best guess would be to call or email IRCC and ask them directly. The wait time is annoying, but it's your best option I think.

Good luck and keep me posted since I am in the process of getting a job offer based provincial nomination.
