Hi,
My pr application(CEC) is under process. I have a closed wp and my husband has opw. I applied online for BOWP for myself and spousal opw for my husband at the same time ( extension) .
1- will CIC approve our applications in the same time?
2- Is there any point to get refusal/ rejection for my husband application?
He has a job offer now, I got a job offer as well. We assumed that we can continue working till the decision is made on our applications. But we dont know if we will get bowp and opw at the end. To accept the offer ( have to make a decision immidiately) we need to be assured that we can get permit. Does anyone have experience on bowp?
Thx

who is the main applicant in the PR application ? you or your husband ?

okay , based on my own experience
1. they will approve your applications at the same time .
2. if your applications are prepared correctly there shouldn't be any problem.

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried to prepare documents correctly. I uploaded my AOR letter, two Pay stubs and a letter of explanation, related forms, passport and my employer letter ( details of my work + hours and salary). However the issue date of my letter was for last year but the information was correct. I worked for a same employer during last year and this year.
1- Is the issue date of letter important?
I attached my pay stubs which I got exactly before applying for the bowp. My contract and permit have been expired 1 month ago ( after bowp submission) and now I do not have a job. But, I supposed to get a new contract soon.
2- Do I need to send my new contract through webform.

Thank you for your reply in advance.

1. yes, I don't think a stale letter will help in your case , try to get a letter with a fresh date will help your application a lot.
2. don't send your contract if you can get a fresh letter .
3. if you go to your GCkey account and find your PR application , you can find a link that states your dependent included in it , print it out and put it in your client information letter , so you can make it easier for the VO processing your BOWP to see that your husband has been included .

Just so you know I didn't include my contract or employment letter when I applied for my BOWP, cos I had an open WP before I applied for BOWP while you have a closed one . so I will put everything into the clients information part and try to avoid the web form .
