BOWP without AOR

Hello All,

I know there is an existing thread thats older than 60 days, so i was told to create a new topic..

I have couple of questions:

A) since i am applying for BOWP without a AOR (estimated date for AOR is 1st Feb), can i still say yes to the question below while checking eligibility to apply online?

1. Does one of the following apply to you?

• I am subject of a removal order that is unenforceable

• I applied for a study or work permit before entering Canada which was approved, but not issued at a port of entry; or

• I applied for permanent residence to an office in-Canada and was determined to be eligible for permanent resident status (first stage approval).

B) If my kid is a US citizen, should i still apply to change in condition to remain in canada as visitor? along with my spouse? or for US citizen this is not required?

Since you are trying to apply online. I would suggest to wait for your AOR and answer the above question as YES.
Online Application is normally faster in terms of processing.

Wish i could wait until AOR arrives, but my current WP is expiring on 31st Jan 2014 . As per CIC i should apply for extension or open WP before 30 days, so i would like to have this done asap and seeing the other thread where people have got BOWP approved with AOR, this sounds promising to me. But need to try my luck!
