BOWP is only for PA. But your spouse can easily get SOWP.

Its same as BOWP. These days more than 40 days

It currently takes 34 days (check CIC processing times - Work Permit Extension - New Employer). In my case it took 40 days for a BOWP & SOWP + another 4 days to get it in the mailbox.
