BOWP: Separate Application

Hi,

My spouse has applied for PR under CEC and Im there as the dependent. Now she will be applying for BOWP in Sep as we are anticipating the AOR by Aug. But my employer will be extending my Closed WP for 3-4 months in Sep itself.

So we thought that she will be applying for the BOWP in Sep and I will be applying for BOWP after I get my closed WP. Is it OK or possible to this ?

You can apply for BOWP if you
- have your AOR
- your current WP is about to expire in the next 4 months.
If you re-new your closed WP you might have to wait with applying for your BOWP but it sure is possible.
