BOWP - Automatic implied status?

Hey there!
I got my ITA, applied for my PR, received my AOR and then applied for a BWOP as my current work visa is expiring very shortly.
Does applying for the BOWP automatically mean that I will have the same status as I have with my current work permit? (I think thats what the implied status means?)
Also will this implied status begin immediately or do I need to wait for paperwork (it says it will take approx 6 weeks to receive paperwork)

Any help would be much appreciated!

You are right. You have the same status as you have with your work permit after submitting the application of BOWP.
That is what the implied status means.

Just work as usual once you are in implied status.
