BOWP and police certificate checks tip

So I want to apply for PR and my PGWP expires in November

I got my tcf score and its now 551 and plan to create my profile friday and be in the pool

I also need a BOWP but am aware need police certificates

I lived in south africa 6 months after 18 so need that certificate and luckily I am in Ottawa and there is an embassy to help

So was wondering what tips would help me do this more smoothly
