I am about to re-instate my status in Canada. - NEEDS TO BE SENT BY 15TH NOV.
I messed up my original extension (just sent form, nothing else)
I am also about to apply for my PR/OWP & to be deemed Rehab'd {fraud charge, $260fine from 1999, DUI, $260 fine, 1yr driving ban April 2000}
I do not want my PR worked on until my status is ok (0008 Q10 asks about status), as it would be rejected due to my status.
If i went to a border with my Canadian born wife & children, with their Irish passports and Canadian citizen certs, Irish birth certs (my name is on them), marriage cert, my forms filled out ready to send, and $200, what are my chances of being denied entry?
IF I was a) refused, what would happen me (would i be like Tom Hanks with nowhere to go, trapped between USA/Canada, I am Irish)
b) admitted, for how long, would they also issue a work permit?
An obvious solution is to wait the 9-10months till re-instatement is processed, that that means waiting 9months
any help would be much appreciated
