I have a few questions to ask and seeking detailed responses. I will be travelling to Toronto (PoE) and then would want to stay in Calgary at relatives' place before flying a few days before the start of my classes to Vancouver (would be searching for accommodation near my university and would quarantine in Calgary). At the port of entry, do they check the booking of the accommodation in the city of our university (Vancouver in this case) or they would only check the details of the stay for the quarantine?

To answer your query, they only really check your quarantine plans if needed. Are you still not fully vaxxed?

Still waiting for my PPR, staying hopeful and being optimistic. I am fully vaccinated but with the Chinese vaccine Sinovac, I have no issues to quarantine just need to be in another city for a week before I find a place near my university and move there. So they won't suspect why I am heading to Calgary from Toronto and not Vancouver?

I think it depends on what you are asked by the officer you meet. I was never asked about my next destination and I didn't need to show any onward ticket or hotel bookings.

No. They wont ask your destination or itinerary after PoE as long as you provide them with quarantine plan based on your situation. Welcome to Vancouver

I guess it is on your destination provided you are connecting. If you want to spend time in Calgary, then you will quarantine there.
