My spouse signed some forms with Blue pen.. I noticed the form asks for Black pen.
Has anyone every had their application returned because of something like this?
Thanks

I can't even imagine that being a problem...especially when you consider that a signature in blue all but guarantees that it's not a photocopy.

Now, if s/he used a blue crayon, well...then you'd have reason to worry. :)

Hahaha blue crayon :D thats funny Ponga :)

It's not a problem. I ALWAYS sign in "blue", and we did so on all our forms. For me, it helps to identify the originals from the photocopies, especially if you must go to a copy centre that hands everything back to in who knows what order.

Haha I like it!

My notary public signed my stat dec of common-law union and stat dec of severance of common-law (not related lol) in light blue pen. I worried as well but I guess this pertains more to the actual filling out of the form?

Well, my hole Sponsorship and PR application were COMPLETED AND SIGN IN BLUE (dark blue) CIC never complained and now im only waiting to land.
I think that, as long as the characters and letters are clear.. there's no problem.
Maybe it depends on the kind of blue? (lol, sounded ridiculous!) but i mean, if its skyblue might be more problematic than royal blue (close to black-blue)...
