Birth date issue in passport.

Hello,

My birth date in passport is 24-april-1981. And in birth certificate, as well as in LC it is 24-january-1981. So will it create any problem to apply for immigration. However i m going to attach effidevit, as my actual birth date is 24-January-1981. Can u gv me guidance plz

If your birth date is incorrect on your passport and you have valid proof such as birth certificate, the best option would be to get it corrected on your passport.

But it is too lenghty procedure. Ill have file a petition and then passport office will make changes. That is why im asking this qery

You'll need to have it corrected in your passport even if it takes as long as required. Not sure how your passport has a completely different date as compared to your birth certificate.

Going forward, you could have issues if you invite your parents/siblings for visitor visas..... or if you apply for your parents' super visas/PR sponsorship
