Hi guys,

In my post-ITA document checklist, the documents they have asked for, should I follow this to the letter or attach additional documents?

Case in point:
1. They asked for my passport only but other people have recommended to include birth certificate too
2. My primary account has enough proof of funds that I will show. However, do I need to show older accounts in the same bank that have little or no money? Do I include other accounts in other banks like my salary account which is in another bank?

TIA

1. Many have just uploaded passport and got PPRs. It specifically asks only for travel document or passport. So, I don't see any reason to upload birth certificate in the holder.

2. Showing primary account will suffice. Have bank certificate, 6 months statement and you're good to go. Also, explain any bulk transactions in your account.

1. Birth certificate is not required for PA/Spouse. It will only ask for dependent children if they are included in your application.

2. Include all accounts if maintained in the same bank which you are using to demonstrate POF. You may also include salary account statements in employment docs it’s the most important evidence of your salary.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Just a couple of questions:

1. My salary was always deposited in other bank accounts (which varied as I switched companies) and never in the account I'm attaching for Proof of Funds (which is a savings account BTW). So should I include statements from those accounts? I'm attaching pay stubs on official company letterheads.
2. It's unrelated but I'm confused about biometrics. Do I get them done before submitting my application like medical examination or after? I don't see any field or upload option for biometrics in my post-ITA checklist.

1. Paystubs are fine.
2. You will have to wait until IRCC sends you the biometrics request which mostly happens around MEP. As per current trends you can expect this around 45 days after application is submitted.
