Birth Certificate in Hindi, what to do?

My wife's birth certificate is in Hindi (Indian Regional Language). What should I do? Will it be accepted as it is or do I need to provide any additional supporting document.

You need to translate your document into English with the help of a certified translator.

Birth certificates are required only for dependent child.

But in my case I don't have a child, I recently got married. Still they asked me to submit birth certificate.

If you are in India go to court translate it and notarized it will take just 30 mins and Rs. 50 not a big deal
