Birth certificate, etc.. translation.

Hi,

I have these two documents that needs translating
Birth certificate
Police certificate

I googled "cic translator" and saw ATIO, but it doesn't have my language. Can I go to my country's embassy and have it translated by an official there? I did something similar for my driving license but that was relatively low risk since they'll tell you outright Yes or No there and then.

Any ideas?
