Sorry if this question has been repeated many times but i just cannot find an answer ...so anyone whos been in this situation ..can you please comment??

I am applying for my wife's PR..shes in India and i am currently in Canada.
She does not have her Birth Cert...so we are providing Voters ID..School Transcripts.....PAN card ..all these Docs show her DOB.

Is this enough? Should I tell her to get some sort of affidavit( not sure what or how this is obtained).??

I mean CIC states..u can provide Voters ID if birth cert is not available....

Please help.Thankss

Tell your wifes Parents to make and sign an Affidavit(Stamp Paper) confirming her Date of Birth as mentioned on the 10th Certificate....This can be done in a day in front of Court where ppl do it.They will explain the procedure also. Most countries accept this as its signed by parents and there names are already in your wifes passport...
