Hi,

I am a british citizen in the process of applying for my perminant residancy visa. I got an ITA then submitted my visa documents. Yesterday it was cancelled because I took the wrong english test and will have to retake. By the time I have done this, it will be mid August before I can reapply and I am concerned about the changes to the requirements for biometric data for people from the EU.

Can anyone confirm whether I definately will need this when I apply again in August? If so do you think it would be better for me to get this while I am redoing my english exam to save time or should I wait until I get the request to submit them on my application? Does anyone know at what stage of the visa application this is requested?

Any information on the new biometric requirements would be very much appreciated.

IRCC is yet to release more details on the process, I would suggest to wait for more news before worrying about it.
