Hi. My wife and stepdaughter got their COPR! Passports arrived with PR status page glued in. We were very excited to start planning her trip to Canada. But now the IRCC portal lists her biometrics as expired, which is weird since it's supposed to be valid for 10 years. She's freaking out because the COPR letter says if the COPR information does not match "reality," she'll be turned away. Does anyone have any insight into this?

It looks like someone at the Warsaw IRCC office made a big mistake. How the heck does that even happen? And what can we do to correct it?

Completely irrelevant, ignore the biometrics thing.

When you say pr status page, that's the visa they affixed to passport?

I agree with @armoured that this is irrelevant. If you have all documents right there should be no problem.

BTW, I would appreciate if you can share your timeline. As I understand you are bound for Québec and processed in Warsaw. I have a similar case.

It's not irrelevant at all! It would be enough to send her back if her fingerprint info is outdated! It's supposed to be valid for 10 years!

What makes you believe that? IRCC resources are full of bugs and sometimes report incoherent information. The issuance of COPR and travel VISA are what matters.

Because my wife received a letter - dated January 24 - telling her that her biometrics are valid until Jan 22 (2 days before the letter was written!). The letter said clearly that if her COPR does not match the "reality" (their word) then she could be sent home. And now, in the PR tracker her biometrics info has been completely erased.

And what information in the COPR do not match the reality? Does it says anything about biometrics?
The phrase about COPR is a standard one. It means that if for example, you are indicated as single, but you are actually married, then there is a problem. Biometrics expiry have nothing to do with it. There is nothing that do not match the reality.

What makes you believe that the fingerprints expiry at the IRCC page has anything to do how CBSA process identification at the airport? I believe that you overthink it. IRCC biometrics expiry date is for new visa applications only. Her fingerprints are still in their database, don't worry :)

And if you don't mind sharing your timeline - that would be greatly appreciated.

We're going to call IRCC to make sure.
I don't see your signature. Where are you applying from?
You can see it if browsing from PC or desktop view from mobile
Primary applicant from Russia. Applied November 22. Recently had everything completed on new tracker but no further updates yet.
