What exactly is biodata? What does it entail? Does everyone get it after MR?
What does CIC panel physicians look for during medical?
I understand they want to make sure you are no medical threat (communicable disease such as TB) and that you will not be the liability to them once PR is granted.
Has there been a case where application was rejected based on medical results?
please, share your thoughts and experiences.
Thank you.

Look for a link to the biodata form on my website. Please only use when requested by CIC, NOT before.

Biodata should only be used when requested by CIC, as Toby noted. CIC has started collecting a lot of biodata on more than just PRs, so yes, most people will get the biodata request with or after MR.

As for MR, it is merely to determine whether or not you will be a burden on the healthcare system. If you search through the forum a little you will find what other members have done. Its not a 10 hour battery of test for NASA, its just to check basic health conditions. Nothing to worry about, unless you have a serious medical condition.

i know a person, whose entire family was granted Canadian PR (later citizenship), but she was not, cause she had TB.
Her family got citizenship about 10 years ago, but she has never been to Canada, because she was refused TRV/PR everything.
So you can see, how serious this is.

That's why they do medicals... :) They don't do that for no reason.
