Did you call CIC? I suggest calling them, confirm if the receipt is attached to your file already.

It can take a while. We paid the biometrics 30th April and didn't get the request until 21st June. I'd give it another month before you start getting really worried.

This is what I found on IRCC website.

If you send your application for permanent residence

• If you submit a complete application and pay the biometrics fee at the same time
  • You’ll get the letter by mail several days or even several weeks after we receive your application and payment.
• If you pay the biometrics fee after you submit your application
  • It can take several weeks before you get the letter by mail.
