Hi,

I submitted my application in July 2018.... and have been waiting for a decision ever since :(

I have been informed that my file has moved from Nova Scotia to NDVO begining April 2019... But since then there has been no update.

I have a couple of questions:
1. I was never asked for Biometrics? Is it not mandatory now....
2. I am between jobs... my last day in my current organisation (details filled in online account) is 27th May... Should I inform NDVO office about this??
3. How much more wait.... It's so tiring :(

1. No, since you submitted before it became mandatory.
2. No, you don't need to do that. You met the work ex. requirement when you applied. You need to inform them of significant changes in your personal life (getting married, divorced, kids etc), but you don't need to tell them that you quit, or got a new job. You do need to maintain your settlement funds as you can be asked about that when you land.
3. No one can say for sure, but you can try ordering your GCMS notes if you'd like to find out what's going on.
