First or second time 'in progress'?
If it's first time your BG is 'in progress', expect it to go back to 'not needed at this time' then 'in progress again' or to remain 'in progress' all the way through.
If it's second time your BG is 'in progress', expect a very good news soon...
It would be helpful if you'd say if it's BG in progress for the first time or BG in progress for the second time. Timeline differs from applicants, streams, VO... count 5 or 6 months after AOR.

It may mean that you passed either 11.2 or completeness check.
I wouldn't say it means anything with regards to your application timeline, especially if you are inland. CIC has been recently holding onto to applications for the full 6 months, sometimes a little more. My application's processing, for instance, was completed over a month and a half before I received my PPR at exactly 180 days since AOR. They send out PPRs in batches based on AOR date.
From BG Not Needed until PPR, how long does the wait usually take?
I understand the standard processing time is around 6 months but there are a few lucky ones that completed the whole process in just two to three months hehe
