After reading about outland and being out of status made me take severe anxiety attack that my partner took me to the emergency. This is beyond scary for me. Please if anyone has been in this situation and successful please let me know thank you

Please don't bump your posts - this is considered rude forum behaviour. People answer questions here for free and it can often take several hours for the right person to see your post and respond since your situation isn't the norm. If you want immediate answers, please hire an immigration lawyer.

Oh I am so sorry I didn't know. I am feeling really low right now I really didn't mean to be rude. That was certainly not my intentions

Why don't you just go back to the UK and apply outland from there? You risk getting yourself removed from Canada by continuing to remain here illegally.

Just take it easy, this is a first world country not ISIS, in Toronto there is 200 thousand illegal people and there r alive and well, being out of status can be legally fixed, nobody is gonna come after u to kill you or tell you you r never to set a foot on this land again. So just a friendly advice for a successful start, take life easy.

There is an option to fix illegal status providing a good explanation for the circumstances in which it happened, you'll find more info in the cic website.
Good luck!

Thank you for those nice words s92

Good luck!

He can't restore his illegal status as he's been illegal here for more than 90 days. While he could apply inland, that won't prevent him from being deported if he's caught.

I know someone who has been illegal for 7 years and fixed his status. But maybe because he was qualified for being a refugee too things went easier for him. What I know for show is that he provided a very convincing explanationot that was merely the truth.

Oh that's reassuring S92 was that by just applying for pr?

He applied Outland like us but with illegal status and of course since he was illegal for a long period he was working illegally and with all that he got his papers pretty fast.

Thank you for that S92. I needed that. Thank you very much. I have never worked a day illegal I just stayed to be a mother to son and so he could be with his father. I stay at home I have done for almost 4 years.

U r welcome. I'm no immigration lawyer though and my knowledge is close to zero compared to the knowledge people have in this forum. I just told what happened with someone I know. I'm sure you'll find here people who know how to fix it or people who went through this.
I wish u all the luck in the world!

Your comments have made me feel a little more confident. Thank you again

Your best option is to leave Canada to resolve your illegal status before deportation. If you are from visa exempt country, you may be able to re-enter.
Consult with a lawyer.

Applying outland while in Canada without status is risky, as it could delay your application or worse.
