I am joining like 250 pics, I have been married since 3 years and have daughter. Didn't know how to filter much the pics lolz so after doing all selection still end up with 250 pics. There are some greeting cards, I don't know if I should send the original or copies. Also there is 1 year calling history but I don't know how much I should provide them ? what do you say ? if I print all it can be 100s of pages. Remaining is all the documents they are asking. My wife havent counted them yet . But she was saying it is starting to be a big pack.

if you are married for 3 years and have a daughter, im not really sure youll need 250 pictures. Obviously include pictures of your wedding and of you and your wife with you daughter, and then pictures that show you and your wife have been happy and in a loving relationship for 3 years. I dont think youll need that many.

Also, 100 pages of call history? Not sure this will be entirely necessary. You are married and not applying common-law so i dont think youd need that much but i would ask senior members perhaps.

Personally, I think that could be excessive. And though im not saying in any way that it is suspicious, to a cic agent, looking at that much information when you are married, could look like a little too much.

For pictures there are thousands of pics, even tried to filter we still ended up with 250, but I will see if I can reduce more. Problem is most of the pics are either she taking mine or I taking her or she taking mine with the daughter. So to show we are together on same place, we have to put 3 pics of each event / place.

Out of 3 years i lived +2 years together, I just recently moved to Canada, and call history is for that period 10 months lol. So what you say 1 page per month will be fine ? Luckily we don't communicate much through email so we are joining nothing otherwise it could be huge .

Remaining is the documents they are asking so we can't reduce them (like all education document of my wife).

What you say about greeting cards ? Personally I don't want to send them or send original as they are sentimental values. and they can take place and make package heavier.

send the copies and tell them that the originals are available if needed but you wanted to keep them because of the sentimental value.
I agree with Gary_87 : it seems to be a lot of pictures! especially if you have lived together more than 2 years, and you can show proofs of that... maybe try to reduce a little.... and choose the pictures that are "special occasions", and then maybe a few that show "normal moments"... it's important to show pictures that show the development of your relationship and the "special occasions", but as you are married with a daughter, 250 pictures is probably a little too much - just my personal opinion.
for the calls - maybe write an explanation about what you're sending, and don't print everything? it seems a lot indeed.
Good luck,
Sweden

i included photocopies of letters (4) and photocopies of cards wishing us well on our engagement (5).

I included 9 pages of photos with 3 photos per page, showing us both in key points of our relationship over 3 years. 3 pictures before we dated in australia, and then 24 pictures of us together on holidays and with each others family. i didnt go overboard. mainly because we dont take lots of pictures together.

i didnt even include emails. I included screenshots of my email account to show email activity. we dont have call logs or anything. as my partner and i live together we normally communicate in person.

a CIC officer isnt going to sit at his desk all day and read through hundreds of pages of transcript, especially when it is so easy to change the content anyway. they just need to see that youve in fact been in contact and that you communicate regularly. they dont want to know what you did every sunday at 4 pm for the last 10 months. You know?

Also, with the pictures, again, imagine the CIC officer sitting looking at every picture. Because of this, each picture needs to be clear enough to make the both of you out so youd need to print it very high quality. I only did9 pages at staples at the highest quality andit cost enough. Just saying.

So long as your relationship and marriage is genuine, and you have a child and you can prove this, then youll be fine! Just dont over do it yeah? :)

Hiya all

By reading this thread tonight only one day away from sending our apps in got me more confused than ever before.
Dont know where you guys are from but I guess by talking about Canada post most of you are in Canada.
What about us from Europe or other parts of the Big Blue Marble! I am planning to send our apps but through Express (registered = to get a signature of acceptance) delivery through Greek Postal services (besides the crisis it is a very healthy and functioning organization)
If I send it registered like I mentioned above and mail them on to the :
Case Processing Centre ─ Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, Ontario
L5A 4N6

would there be anyone to sign for them or I am just p.....ng in the wind?
Can someone clarify please
Thank you

This address is for all mail. The robert speck is for courier only. So unless you are using fedex or ups go to the po box 3000.

For greeting cards they ask to put the envoloppe that show that date on what it was send, so how you guys are sending photocopies of the cards ? Apparently a Card without envelope don't have any value. and sadly I have thrown away most of the envelopes :(

I sent the cards anyway. For one, you can't prove an envelope went with a card. Also, one of the cards, my husband discusses coming to visit me for the first time and how excited he is. I also included a wedding card from his grandmother.

In that case then all my cards and letters would be inadequate.

Its completely fine to just send them! :)
