Med's Done....

Hello everyone, I applied for a work permit as part of the International Experience Canada program as I intend to work in Canada as an AuPair for a couple of months. However, my application is stuck in processing and IRCC is not replying to my web forms. The processing time when i submitted my application was 6 weeks and it has now been 12 weeks since giving my biometrics on August 15th.

Furthermore, there seems to be a problem with my medical exam. I did an upfront medical exam but my appointment was shortly after the deadline for the application so i only uploaded the application confirmation and was later asked to upload my medical as additional documents. I have done that but a few weeks later (September 13th) I was asked by IRCC to do my medical exam and given a 30 day deadline. I immediately raised a webform asking about this and I included the information of the e-medical sheet that I have gotten from the panel physician (the sheet that i submitted under additional documents) in hopes that they would update my account. This however did not happen and the status of my medical exam in my account is “We haven’t received your medical exam.” and I didn’t get a reply to my webform either.

Since the first webform was still under normal processing times, I just decided to wait some more. As nothing happened and everything in my account is still processing, I’ve raised another webform two weeks ago, asking about the delay and why I haven’t gotten my introduction letter yet. IRCC didn’t reply so far, so now i’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do? Is there perhaps another way to contact them which ensures quick replies? I feel like calling would be the easiest way but i’m outside of Canada so that won’t be possible. I did find an email address of IRCC but i’m not sure if that’d work better than the webform.

I know that patience is the key but I’ve been patient for so long already and zero communication from IRCC is just not helping at all. After all, I want to go to Canada to do a cultural exchange and I need to plan and organize this but have to keep delaying everything because I don’t know what’s wrong with my application.

If anyone has some advice on what to do or if anyone has been in this position before, i’d really appreciate the help as i’m clueless at this point. Like should i try to contact IRCC again? If yes, how? And is there anything to do for the medical?

Best Regards
