Hey guys

I already have my tickets booked for 19th of july but agent insists that I travel at the most 1 month/30 days early not more than that.

Is it advisable to still travel on 19th or should I change my ticket to august 1st and after?

You have to show funds, convince the immigration officers at POE that why are u so early,
It shud not be a problem, still lets wait for experts to answer

Hey its better to travel before one month from start of your course as there would less questioning at the time of poe.. Even my ticket was on 18th july and now i have done a date change to 30th july as my classes start from 25th aug.. Because at the time of poe they see how much funds u have so that u can support yourself at the time u are in there without working because to work as a student u have to be a student.. Which means u wont able to work until your classes start and if u go early IO becomes suspicious that one might work illegally there.. So one must be prepared with questions from here..but if u have a valid reason then there is no problems like visiting relatives.
This information i've got from this forum only from various threads.

Hope this helps.. Best of luck :)

You can enter Canada the moment you have TRV in hand. You get TRV at the most 3 months in advance.

then u must also be knowing that entry can very well refused at POE at the discretion of border security officer.

Don't you think if CBSA agent will at least use some logic to refuse your entry;

1. if you give false/incomplete information.
2. failed to satisfy that you will leave Canada.
3. failed to notify of change in circumstances after visa approval.
