Best time to Receive Police Clearance Record

Dear all,

How many days before can I apply for police clearance record before living the country that can be acceptable to CIC?

I am waiting for ITA, However, I will be working in another country soon.

In order make the process smoother, It may be a good idea to apply for police clearance record while you are living there.

Hi,
As per rules if you're providing PCC for a country that is not your current residence, then the pcc should be taken after you left the country. So you cannot apply and receive it while you're living there.

Although what could work is applying just before you leave ...but make sure the date on the Pcc is after your date of leaving the country.

Although I suggest that wait for your ITA and then apply.
