Newbie here but I have a question around what best route for my partner to take who will be applying on NOC 7241 Electrician bracket under the FSWP and FSTP programmes.
For us there are only two main differences at the moment that could determine which is easiest. FSWP he will only need to get his education assessed to qualify whereas the FSTP he will need to go and challenge the red seal exam in the province we wish to immigrate to. So my question is, would it be best applying under FSWP and challenging this exam once we move, or do it ahead (spend money, more time) getting the exam covered and then applying for the FSTP programme. I understand from the CIC website you can be put into both, but without doing the red seal exam we would only qualify for the FSWP. What would be most sensible taking into account the money/time factors involved?
Many thanks for any views!
