Best Banks option for international student

Hello Senors,

I will like to know which banks offers the most convenient means of transfers money from African countries to Canada. As i will be having to move upkeep funds during the course of my studies to my local Canadian account.

Please do help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check scotia bank, it has got a branch in AFrica but you got to check where you are in Africa which country and city and check if they have the branch. More over, you needn't worry about a canadian bank in your respective country as you can always have wire transfers from your country to Canada which will take 3 to 4 days time.

not a bad choice at all. RBC is good, specially good for students, why;

1. you get an account with 25 transactions free at merchant. Other banks charge 2 dollars even if you withdraw just 10 dollars from any other ATM other than your original bank, RBC doesn't charge you, it's kinda you get it back.

2. You get a credit card the day you land here without any income or credit history proof.

Hence, yes not a bad choice.
