My wife and i are currently filling in all the paper work for her to sponsor me. I was wonder she is pregent due in september and is also currently not working. Is there any benifits that she can claim during the application process or can she start them once she has been approved as a sponsor.
Also we are just about to pay the fees. any idea how much we need to pay. She is canadian i am english we are married and both under the age of 22.

She's not allowed to go on welfare. She can apply for unemployment or child tax. The fees are 1040, it would be a good idea to pay it all up front to avoid any delays.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee $490
Sponsorship application $75
Principal applicant $475

Total: $1040 :)
