my sister's application has been in process since 2010. She received an email in July from the Beirut's office saying they will schedule an appointment for her interview in September (a copy of the email below). up till this moment she have not received anything from them. she sent lots of emails asking about her file but no response at all.
here is a copy of the email:
(Dear Madam,
Please note that your Interview will be scheduled in September since we have no Immigration Officer available prior to that month.
You will receive the Interview notice within 6 weeks by e-mail.
Kindly be patient and wait for our correspondence.

My file was transferred to your office in May 2015 from Jordan, upon my request, as an interview is required.
I want to have an update about my file and requesting to have my interview done as soon as possible in order to be able to have my application processed faster for several reasons.
First of all, it is NOT safe here in Syria at all, I want to keep myself and my family safe. Secondly, I have a job offer in ***** and I want to attend my job in ******, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thirdly, I want to be with my sister and her family in ****, Saskatchewan, Canada.
I am awaiting to hear back form you as soon as possible and thank you for your understanding.
