BEFORE I order Notes

I applied almost a year ago for PR. Interview waived in March. No word since then, not even where my file was transferred when Buffalo closed. Medicals expire in two weeks. I have been told to order NOTES on my case. Will this cause even further delay?! I have emailed CIC three times in the last month and gotten no response at all. This is way beyond ridiculous at this point.

At this point, I don't think it will hinder anything. It will be a lot more helpful to have the notes and see what exactly is going on.

I'm torn because I read where it can delay things. Just wondering if that's true. I don't want to give them ONE more reason to delay things. That said, I'm fairly certain they have lost my file AGAIN.

It delays things if you request your entire file. It does not cause a substantial delay to get your file NOTES. These are stored in a computer database and accessible without needing to pull your file from wherever it is being processed.

I keep seeing people from the US who have applied months after me and are already landed. it just doesn't make sense. something seems very wrong. lost wrong.
