Got married last year, now getting a divorce because she's pregnant again and want to go on income assistance and we also have a 9 month old together. We have a spousal sponsorship application in but she wants to withdraw the application. My work permit has expired is there anything I can do do to stay in Canada and be apart of my children's life?

You'll need to find a way to qualify to remain in Canada based on your own qualifications. Unfortunately having a child in Canada doesn't entitle you to stay.

What is your status in Canada now? How long ago did your work permit expire and did you apply to change your status to visitor before it expired? Have you looked into any of Canada's economic immigration programs (like Express Entry) to see if you qualify?
