Hello, I am a BCPNP nominee under the Health Authority, Non-Express stream. I have done extensive research and just cannot find a definitive answer to my question. My problem is that though I like it here, I really despise my job. My PR tracker estimates an approval anywhere between 13-21 months but I just don't think I can continue with this job for that long. My immigration representative advised that I exercise caution of changing employers even within the same sponsoring employer so as not to jeopardize my chances for Permanent Residency. Surely, there has been others in my same situation. Any input or suggestions are welcome. Thank you

Unfortunately ff this is tied to a job offer then not much you can do unless you want to lose nomination and cancel PR application. If you have another job with the same NOC and employer that is eligible it may be possible to change to that employer but BC would have to approve it.

Thank you so much for your response. Unfortunately, my nomination is tied to my employer sponsor and my work permit is closed. That said, do you think it's worthwhile requesting a lateral transfer within the same health authority. I'm pretty miserable at work but don't want to jeopardize my nomination!

You need to get information from BC PNP on whether it is allowed. That is something you need to discuss with health authority as they and you will still need to inform BC PNP of the change and approve it. It could change points too. May not be worth it as it would put your application on hold.
