BC PNP

Hi, im confused about my friend situation here. Our employer is willing to sponsor her to be a BC PNP, but since there's a income bracket for each family we're afraid that her application might be denied. Her situation is very complicated, she has a son but not married to her partner. Her partner is previously married but the annulment is already on process. We are confused if the size of her family unit is "Family of 2 or 3"? Is her partner included in calculating her family unit or not. Since common law partner here in Canada is recognize, we are afraid that upon her application BC PNP office might require her docs that proves that they are not living together or her partner is not supporting her child.
