Just wanted to thank everyone for all the help with my many questions, and I think this is my final one before sending off our package, so, about barcodes; my application forms for sponsor have a set of barcodes and my wife's application forms for applicant have a set of barcodes, do both sets of barcodes go on top of the whole entire package? Or does the sponsor's barcodes go at the very top of their forms, and the applicant's barcodes go on the very top of their forms?

I'm sure it's no big deal so long as everything is included and it's probably somewhat trivial, like does the toilet paper roll go over or under? But I thought I would double check for peace of mind.

Thank you kindly again,

Dango

lol.....the toilet paper issue is very important and must always be pulled from the top, over. Otherwise we could not make that neat little triangle like they do in the fancy hotels :P

I did the barcodes with the sponsor's on top of the sponsor's stuff and the applicant's on top of the applicant's stuff. I also separated each section with a paper clip and then did a big paperclip over the entire thing. My opinion is that the easier it is for CIC to sort = the lower the risk of any mishaps at their end. Congrats on finishing!

I am also doing the barcodes with sponsor's on top of sponsor's stuff, and applicant's bardcodes on top of applicant's stuff (unless someone chimes in otherwise, lol). I am just packaging it in the envelope now, will mail out tomorrow! Good luck with yours.

Thanks, I think that makes sense too. I am still waiting on my option C, that is all that is missing, but it will hopefully be here any day now.

Good luck to you also ChellyCat I hope it goes well.

P.S. And I agee CdandTrini, it must always be pulled from the top lol.

I've read some really bad opinions/advice on this site and held my tongue, but now you two have gone too far. The roll goes under, down the back! ;D

LOL......I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!! So far it's 2 against one (me & dango). I believe my hotel evidence is pretty solid...... ;)

It definitely goes over the front :P

I'm here, to solve all of your Canada immigration issues:

Ahem.. Although my personal preference is over, the following infographic lists the pros and cons of both:

lol.......lol.....repeatedly......thank you for addressing this "immigration" issue with the serious attention it deserves. So folks - according to beholder69's research........70% of people prefer the "over" or as it is also known - "top of the roll" vs. pulling from "under". bigredmoose - what say you? ;D

Always over!!!

Also, I placed all barcodes right on top. This way, they would scan them in immediately, as soon as the package was opened. I did get an AOR from Mississauga about 10 days before sponsor approval, not sure if it is because they could scan the barcodes as soon as they opened the application.
