barcode page - question

I just sent in my application to sponsor my spouse who resides in Brazil. I sent the application last week.

I was just reading the guide and discovered that after validating a form the barcode page appears. I placed the barcode page on top of the application with my cover letter and document check list - now here is the problem.

I don't remember seeing a signature line - I know I didn't sign or date the barcode page. Can someone please let me know if they signed it.

If I need a signature is there anything I can do to rectify the issue with CIC or do I just have to wait until my application is returned?

The signatures are on different pages from the barcodes for both the Generic application form and Application to sponsor. So if these forms are not signed and dated, it will be deemed incomplete.

Did the applicant and sponsor sign their respective forms? ( for the application to sponsor both sign this form)

I went over my app with a fine tooth comb and don't remember a signature line either - let's get some feedback and I'm sure we will get our answer. good luck to us

You probably misunderstood the guide cos there is no signature line on the barcode pages

Hi Mandie - yes the Generic application and the application to sponsor were signed and dated. I was just concerned with a signature line on the barcode page - but if your saying there isn't one then perhaps I'l be able to sleep this evening.

Glad to hear that....BUT don't take my words for it, especially if you can read the guide. I try as much as possible to read the guide and possibly send the link to the CIC site before I respond to a post. I will feel bad if I give wrong info in my quest to help
