I am sponsoring my wife and awaiting CIC to approve me as a sponsorer. My misses may need to apply for bankruptcy in the UK. Will this effect her application for PR? Thank you!

No - it won't.
It would affect the application if you as the sponsor were bankrupt. But since it's the applicant, it doesn't matter.
