i have heard that if you are paying your full fee for your first year then you can only show only living expense around 12000 canadian dollar is it right?

Living expenses requirement is 10000 CAD+ return air fare to & from canada. From pak its around 2000 CAD

i have heard that if you are paying your full fee for your first year then you can only show only living expense around 12000 canadian dollar is it right?

If you only show that, VO simply gonna reject your application saying "Insufficient fund". You have to show more than just 12000 cad + air fare + enough money to proof that your sponsor can sustain his own family AND also a continuous source of income/property to proof that your expenditure can be paid in the upcoming year.

I showed enough money for completing my degree and sustainability of my family back in the country.

Remember, they know that since you are applying, you have fund to sustain your education in canada but they want to see whether your sponsor will have enough money to sustain his/her own family too.
