Bank statement

I am going to show my bank statements older than 6 months for the cross reference of my salary slips but actually the balance in the bank statement is very low, is it a problem as it's from the same bank but I started saving in this account only for the last six months.

Depending on how many family members in the application, you should proof possession of the required funds for the past 6 months precedent to the day of your application submission.

Why are you complicating your life? Just provide what's required nothing more, just provide the last 6 month bank statement and your pay slips only if you're a CEC.

Thank you so much for your reply, can I please also ask is it necessary to have the required amount for the past six months, what if the starting months are slightly lower than the required amount?

It's fine if it's slightly lower, what matters is there aren't any big transfers and that you ending balance meets the threshold.
