Hi all, I applied under FSW1 for 3131 in nov 2011 and my application returned due to cap reached. I am planning to apply again this year if 3131 is there in the new list. My bank statement showing the required fund in fixed deposit was dated oct'2011. My fixed deposit is for 1.6 years. ie. till march 2013. So now when I submit the application again, can I use the same bank statement as the deposit is for 1.6yrs?
Please suggest.

Don't think it would be a problem.
Please take some more opinions.

all you need to do is

get a upto date bank certificate with you saving a/c and fd details on it...make sure bank have converted the amount in
to equivalent CAD and you have to attached the certified copy of your FD and bank statement with the application

How can the bank convert the amount in to CAD? I have deposited the required amount and the bank certificate mentions I have a fixed deposit of required amount which is in INR. We have to show the equivalent fund in our currency..Right?
