Hello,

I'm a post-grad worker in Canada applying for EE soon and have a few questions..

1) If I have the required funds (say $13k CAD) in my Canadian savings a/c, do I need to show my checking a/c statement as well to show day-to-day transactions or is that not required? Asking because there's almost zero activity in my savings a/c and the money has been sitting there forever. I think all they want to see is you have the required funds, right?

2) Secondly, is it okay to submit online bank statements as it's a Canadian bank or do they still need it stamped/sealed/signed, etc?

Thanks!

As you said you're post-grad worker then you will be applying under Canadian experience class?- if yes, you don't need to show proof of funds.

if you are planning to apply FSW then you will required to show funds in you bank accounts- which includes checking/saving/credit/and if any RRSP or TFSA.

You will need last 6 months transaction with closing balance.

I had a letter on bank letterhead signed by bank manager which was showing summary of my bank accounts.
