Thanks to all of you and I am now ready to submit the application @VFS India (Delhi Office). However I do have one last things to confirm.

I am inviting my in-laws on visitor visa for 4 -5 weeks and have included my T4, NOA, Pay stub, PR Card, Passport etc as supporting document. Do I have to also include Bank statement showing some fund.

Please note that the visa I am applying for them is Visitor Visa (TRV).

In fact nothing of your part is required... but it is a good to have. So you can add it or not if you think this is not redundant and gives new information.

If it is stated anywhere in your application that you will be providing for them during their time in Canada then I think it would be a good idea to show that you have the means to do so. Like the previous poster said, it is not required but might help a lot depending on your case.

You must submit your bank statements for the last 3 months

As you are inviting your parents, you must show evidence of your income and your financial situation ie
Proof of inviter's income and financial situation including but not limited to Notice of Assessments (NOA), employment letters, pay stubs, bank statements

Three months is for the main applicant, for the sponsor the most recent one is fine.

No, the main applicant has to show 6 months' of bank statements..... not 3 months.... plus other financial documents such as Income Tax Returns for the last 2 years, etc

For the Host, it can be the most recent one, if 3 months is not possible

No, it's not me who's saying so.... it's part of the suggested checklist :)

The OP is inviting his in-laws from India..... hence, documents have to be seen from an Indian perspective.

For visit visas of most countries (not just Canada), Indian nationals must submit bank statements going back at least 6 months.... generally speaking, it's not amusing the kind of transactions that some (not all) people may do just to prove they have the finances for a visit.... and that's why 6 months' of bank statements (at the minimum)

In this particular case, in another thread, the OP had asked if his bank statement must show a minimum amount.... there's no minimum bank balance for the Host for TRVs.... except that it should be reasonable enough to support the visitors' stay.... especially if the Host states in the invitation letter that he will take care of their accommodation, travel and living expenses whilst in Canada.... hence, he must submit his bank statement

If they can prove adequate liquid finances for the TRVs then they are sorted
