Good day!
I am based in Saudi Arabia, and my bank account is in the Philippines. I just authorized my brother back home to claim my bank certificate, so he scanned the original copy and sent the .pdf file to me. However, I noticed at the bottom part the following note:
Conforme by the depositor:

This is to authorize the bank to disclose whatever information relative to my deposit account by virtue of this certification they issued upon my request. I hereby waive my rights and further release them from whatever liability that may arise from this disclosure as provided.
Question: Do I need to sign this before submitting to CIC? If yes, is it ok to print the .pdf file, sign it and then scan it again then upload?
Another thing: my account is in Philippine Peso currency. Does CIC require that the amount in the cerfification reflects the CAD dollar equivalent of my savings amount?
