Hi,

My process is due to be completed on 29th Jan. The current status of the application is- I passed my medicals and background check is in progress. However, while submitting documents for POF, I only submitted bank letter mentioning the available funds - 23000 USD and the average balance for 12 months as 3800 USD as my bank could provide only that. And one of my friends received PR with the same information. I have also submitted my salary slips which show 5000 USD as my monthly income.

I am worried now if not providing bank statements could be a problem. In such cases, do they send ADR or rejection? I wonder if I should withdraw my application and reapply as I can still make it in the draw with 473 points but I turn 31 in first week of Feb which reduces my points by 5 making my CRS 468, if I had to apply in next draw my chances are slim with the growing competition.

Appreciate your help

Thanks,

I think you are good and safe. IRCC will accept the bank letter as POF. Just make sure that the letter was issued on the bank letterhead, including your contact information;this include your name, type of account with account number and current balance and average balance for past 6 months.
Note that you can keep your funds up to date in your profile.

Thanks :) That brings some relief.

Have you tried a LoE explaining why there's such a huge difference between current balance and monthly average?

This could be an issue, it shows a huge increase in funds and make them believe wearily of the origin of the funds.
