I have got the bank confirmation letter, but the latest statement shows transactions after the date of bank confirmation letter. Does it make any issue?

No. Its a bank account. CIC expects transactions to take place. As long as you have minimum funds required you should be good.

How old bank confirmation letter is valid?

I am not sure about the age of the bank letter. I submitted my 6 most previous online bank statements.
