Thanks for the reply but a quota is a quota (set by the CAQ). Can you provide details on why it doesnt affect family class?

FYI - that thread isn't an example of a delay. The agent messed up in that which is why things were delayed.

To mitigate the impact of immigration thresholds on skilled workers, the CAQ government is currently negotiating with Ottawa to also reduce the proportion of family reunification files accepted. But in the meantime, the impact is focused on economic immigrants.
