Background verification updated from IN PROGRESS--> COMPLETED--> IN PROGRESS!!

I applied for citizenship in Jan 2021 and got the AOR in Mar 2021. I submitted fingerprints upon request in May 2021 then the status of BG Verification changed to COMPLETED in Dec 2021. I passed the citizenship test in Jan 2022 and the status changed to COMPLETED in Feb 2022. BUT!! The BG Verification changed to IN PROGRESS again in Apr 2022!!
And I didnt get another request for fingerprints. Can anyone help me with this? Is it normal?

I don't know. They already have your FP to identify you. It doesn't make any sense to request a new set of FP. I'm just guessing.

Your fingerprints is expired and they are valid for one year. You should get an email soon. First the portal gets updated in a day or two the email will be sent. So no worries as soon you get the mail, proceed with fingerprints again.

If you still haven't received the email, may be you should try to get in touch with IRCC to get this going and provide whatever they want asap.

Hi ! I had the same situation as you. I applied in December 2020 and AOR in February 2021.
I never got a request for fingerprints but my background was changed from completed to in progress on June 25, 2022.
Did they ask for fingerprints? How did you get the request ? by email, letter or you had to call IRCC?
