BACKGROUND VERIFICATION TELEPHONIC CALL FROM VO

Hi Experts!

I'm working for a company from which I'm claiming all my experience points...due to my work conditions I have lot of traveling to other clients and I'm not actually present at my company premises. So, if the VO calls the company and checks on and asks the HR to pass the phone to me....I'm sure i wont be able to...So will the VO think im not genuinely not working in that company...how i can support this.... ? please help me. Thank you!

If they check, they won't want to talk to you (most likely) only HR. or the the Manager.

But I have recently gone through a post of one of the member. The VO even interviewed the guy. I am concerned abt this .He wrote like this

I had this stated in my EcAS
"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 29, 2010."
After which I was happy that I may just get my medicals.
But last Tuesday I received a call first to my office then me and from there to my reporting officer.
Well they asked a lot of things about my work exp, what it I come to office etc.
They also asked about the turnover of the company hoe may employees are there etc.
well all the place at my office and my reporting officer didnt disclose any personal details as turnover or salary etc .
they said that it cannot be disclosed on phone and if needed send someone to office.
So now I dont know what is going to happen as was these statement taken positively or not.
and also why why did I get a enquiry after the above statement.just would like to get a expert advice

If company if big MNC or have good detail website then they will check and verify most of details online.
