Now I am going to send my original passport to Abu Dhabi embassy through vfs in Islamabad. How long do you think Visa Stamping is going to take ??

No! I applied in November 2023. The similarity was that BGV started before eligibility. I don't know if that's normal.

Hi,
We've applied for a Student Family Visa. Here's our application timeline:

• Lodged on December 30
• Biometrics Completed: January 03, 2024
• Medical Completed: January 05, 2024

Since then, there have been no updates. The tracker indicates that the background check is in progress, but the RE has not yet started. I'm feeling quite nervous due to recent changes in the law. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

your post made me calm down a little, I'm in the same situation you were in, backgroun check in progress and eligibility not started, do you remember what happened? your eligibility passed from not started to complete or anything like that?

Sorry I couldn't answer some of the questions dudes asked here about my timeline.

I applied on April 18
Biometrics on April 28 (I think)
Medical requested on September 7th
Eligibility completed on September 7th
And my background verification was in progress since September 7th 2023 and was completed on April 30 2024. (Weird right?)

It took three days for passport stamping.

I am almost done with my first year of my research-based master's degree
