I'm not yet 18 but I will be 18 in a month's time. Do I need to fill Background Information on IMM1294E? It says on the form that 'you must complete this section if you are 18 years of age or older'.
Do I complete it or not?

My father had applied for PR long time back (but got rejected) and my application was a dependent application . If I were to complete this section, should I enter this information?

Should never hide any information. Once you get into mis-representation zone and are caught-out there's no time travel to past
for rectifying it.

I entered that information on the form first, but then removed it after seeing that the background information is to be filled by applicants of 18 years of age or older.
I guess it's better to keep that information there then.

Also, Please take professional opinion from an agent of standing. If I was you, I wouldn't hide that information.

I have included that information just to be on the safe side.
